It's been a long time since any posts were added to this blog because all of the effort going into this site has been directed to the museum and the stats archive that it contains.. but the blog pages are looking old and tired on the front of the site so we thought it was time to give an update on what has been going on and added to the museum..

We need your help!

Building this site out is a massive undertaking - we've made huge progress in creating what we believe is now the biggest AFC Bournemouth stats and history resource around - and we need help from the community to make it even better. There are lots of blanks to be filled in - team photos from many seasons, player pictures, player profiles and biographies, line-ups, goalscorers and cards in match details.. From the early days most of the match reports we can lay our hands on refer to players only by their family names, sometimes with an initial - and we're very keen to find out more about the pioneering players that established our club.. if you or your family have any information that can help us expand any part of this resource, please drop us a line via our social media pages - we're on BlueSky, UpScrolled, Facebook and Instagram.. we'll be adding some commenting functionality to the site as well to help make it easy for people to contact us. Corrections are also welcome - some of the information we have is ambiguous or just hard to read! With the help of the community we can make this an even more complete resource for the history of our club.
