Bournemouth overtook Middlesbrough to go top of Division Three with a 4-1 victory at Dean Court against Mansfield Town. Middlesbrough losing 2-1 away at Chesterfield let the Cherries return to the top of the league, a position that would change hands regularly in the coming weeks before both teams would go on incredible runs to the end of the season.
