How to help

This project is enormous - and we need YOUR help to make it as good as it can be

rednblack.net is put together by supporters. There are thousands of first-team results and more than a thousand players on here, but there are still gaps on nearly every page. If you can fill one in, we'd like to hear from you.

What we're after

Photos

Match action, the crowd, players posed or in the tunnel, the ground as it was in your day - anything related to AFC Bournemouth. A phone snap of an old print is fine; we can work from that.

Programmes and memorabilia

Programme scans, team photos especially - a lot of seasons have none, teamsheets, tickets and stubs, handbooks, autographs, anything printed for a match. A clear photo of the front cover already helps!

Missing match detail

Line-ups, goalscorers and times, substitutions, attendances, referees, and firm dates for the older games. If you were there and the page is wrong or blank, tell us what you remember.

Player detail

A photo for a player who has none, a date or place of birth, where someone went after Bournemouth. Biographies, dates of death for players that are sadly no longer with us. The player pages are only as complete as the sources we've found and some of those sources only give us as little as the player's surname.

Memories

Games you were at, players you saw, a season you followed home and away. Context and first-hand accounts really bring the numbers to life.

Where it's needed most

The museum shows where the archive is thin right now - player photos, full line-ups, programme covers and team photos are the biggest gaps.

Getting it to us

Every match, every season, every player profile has a comments section where you can leave your thoughts or upload pictures. The forum is a great place too - start a thread, attach what you have, or just post a correction. You can also reach us on Facebook, the Facebook group, Bluesky or Instagram.
