Rodney Adams

Rodney Adams was a versatile winger who was signed by Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic manager Freddie Cox from Frome Town in June 1966.

The 20-year-old made his Football League debut on the final day of the 1966/67 season in a 0-0 draw against Grimsby Town at Dean Court. He went on to make 17 Third Division appearances for the Cherries, scoring four goals, while also featuring regularly in the Football Combination, before joining Weymouth in February 1969.

Rodney was a member of the Weymouth side that won the Southern League Cup in 1973 and later enjoyed spells with Yeovil Town and Chard Town before emigrating to Canada.
